FAQ
Protecting your web3 assets: Backed by InsureX coin.
What is InsureX?
InsureX is a pioneering Chrome extension designed to provide insurance for your MetaMask wallet transactions. It assesses the security of the websites you transact with in real-time and informs you whether the transaction is insured up to $20,000, based on the website's safety and our recommendations.
How does InsureX work?
InsureX integrates directly with your browser and activates each time you initiate a transaction through your MetaMask wallet. It evaluates the website's credibility and alerts you if the transaction is insured or not. If a site is deemed unsafe, InsureX will also inform you of the potential risks involved in proceeding with the transaction.
What is the $INSX token?
The $INSX token is the backbone of the InsureX ecosystem, providing the necessary funds for insurance coverage. Holding more $INSX tokens increases your insurance coverage, integrating a rewards system within the platform for users who actively participate in the ecosystem.
How can I increase my insurance coverage with InsureX?
Your coverage amount is directly related to the number of $INSX tokens you hold. The more tokens in your wallet, the higher the insurance coverage you're eligible for. This incentivizes users to invest in the InsureX ecosystem for enhanced protection.
Is InsureX available for transactions on all blockchains?
Currently, InsureX supports transactions on the Ethereum network, with plans to expand coverage to include Solana transactions in the near future. Stay tuned for updates on additional blockchain integrations.
What does the AI security measurement tool do?
The AI security measurement tool, coming soon to InsureX, will enhance our ability to evaluate the security risks of transactions by using advanced artificial intelligence algorithms. This tool aims to provide an extra layer of protection by identifying potential threats and vulnerabilities in real-time.
How can I get started with InsureX?
To get started, simply install the InsureX Chrome extension from the Chrome Web Store. Once installed, the extension will automatically activate each time you conduct a transaction through MetaMask, guiding you through the process of securing your transactions.
What happens if I proceed with an uninsured transaction?
If you decide to proceed with a transaction that InsureX does not insure, you will be doing so at your own risk. InsureX provides detailed warnings about the potential risks, allowing you to make an informed decision. However, InsureX will not cover any losses incurred from uninsured transactions.
